The UK’s favourite celebrity vet commented:

Jilly’s latest novel features two rescue dogs. She has donated a copy to support the campaign and had this to say:

The people who work in rescue kennels are heroic and work so many hours to find homes for their charges and they’re always desperately short of money so anything that can raise more funds for them is absolutely wonderful.
