Paul donated a signed Nodding Dog to the campaign.

"Buster and Olga are two of my
most precious companions.
They were both rescue dogs
and they bring me, as well as
viewers of my show, endless fun
and entertainment. I give my full
support to the Pedigree Adoption
Drive and encourage anyone
who can give a dog a good home
to get down to their local rescue
centre.”

The UK’s favourite celebrity vet commented:
“My first ever dog was a English bull terrier called Zed who
had been ill treated by his previous owners. Confiscated
and cared for by the RSPCA, he became my dog after
helping with his treatment in my final year of vet school.
Zed gave my family and me seven years of unconditional
love and affection, never once showing an ounce of malice
after being treated so badly.

Rescue dogs can provide wonderful new pets, and you’re offering a home
to a canine who desperately needs
one. The UK is known as a nation
of animal lovers, the backbone of
which is animal rescue centres.
Support for these vital organisations can be offered in many ways,
donations, volunteering, specialist
advice and of course, rehoming
a loving new canine companion.”
Jilly’s latest novel features two rescue dogs.
She has donated a copy to support the campaign
and had this to say:
“I think the dog adoption campaign is wonderful.
Having almost always having rescued animals myself,
I know what wonderfully rewarding pets they make.
Gradually seeing them gain confidence is such a fantastic
delight.

The people who work in rescue
kennels are heroic and work so
many hours to find homes for their
charges and they’re always
desperately short of money so
anything that can raise more funds
for them is absolutely wonderful.
Also, anything that can find loving
homes for these incredibly loving
animals is to be applauded. Hooray for The Pedigree Adoption Drive. Well done Pedigree.”

Des was full of praise for the campaign

"As a dog lover, I totally support the Adopt a Dog charity
campaign and all the work they do"
Martin has donated several signed DVDs of The Office
to the campaign

“There are many too many dogs in rescue centres
across the UK. You can help these dogs by going
to pedigreeadoptiondrive.com and getting yourself
a campaign t-shirt to show your support."
